and boldly lofted themselves off the summit
turned out it was eye opening
learning some things
about their heart and quills
on the windy roll down
at the bottom they decided
to waddle back up
and do it again

my beloved husby had to take my vehicle last weekend in which he asked lovingly if i’d remove all the filthy trash and whatnot so he could actually sit in it and i got most of it out but left him a souvenir of dirt and dust and a few wrappers so he would sure think of me fondly while on the road.
